Note: Change of Venue --- Now at Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg
October is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month in Canada.
Kay O’Neil will share how Kerry’s Place, the
largest provider of services and support for people with ASD (Autism
Spectrum Disorder) in Canada, was born out of the frustration and dreams
of a small group of concerned parents.
Kay’s book, The Birth of Kerry’s
Place tells how Canada’s first treatment centre was located in
Clarksburg.
Location: Drive to Thornbury, turn south at the lights and drive through
town to Clarksburg. The Centre is on the left side of the road. If you leave Clarksburg, you have gone too far.
