Happy New Year!
The programs from 2012 were interesting and varied. 2013 also has a great line-up of programs. They are all scheduled until May.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, February 16. We will start with a potluck lunch at noon at Cooke's Presbyterian Church in Markdale. The program is member generated. Frank Bassingthwaite would like to know by the middle of January if you would be interested in doing a 10 to 15 minute presentation related to Grey County history. We also want members to bring something for show and tell related to Grey County History.
You only have a month left to get your nominations in for the Society's Heritage Certificate of Recognition. Please check out the website where you will find the nomination form, instructions on entry and details on what the adjudicators are looking for when they look at the nominations. They want lots of detail so they can do a fair assessment. They use a marking grid.
