Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. Meaford -- Meaford Museum & Meaford Hall
At 6 p.m. join us for a guided tour of Meaford's historical pump house, now the charming Meaford Museum
At 7:15 p.m. regroup at the Terrace Room at Meaford Hall. Marjorie Davison will provide a detailed account of some eminent women of Grey County: Alice Clement (1st woman mayor in Grey and Bruce Counties), Grace Lambe (entrepreneur and owner of Grandma Lambe's) and Retta Gifford Kilborn (medical missionary to China).
Directions to the Meaford Museum from Trowbridge St. and Sykes St. North, turn towards the water and follow to Bayfield St. Turn left, follow to 111 Bayfield St.
Meaford Hall is located at the corner of Nelson and Sykes. If the room designation is changed, there will be a sign indicating this change.
