The August meeting of the Grey County Historical Society had two parts. The meeting began at the Old Pump House, now a Museum. In the last few years it has been extended, renovated and it has become an official, temperature-controlled building, housing professionally displayed artifacts and documents pertaining to the history of Meaford. Pam Woolner, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Society was the hospitable host. As Curator of the Meaford Museum, she welcomed everyone and provided an informative tour of the museum.
The Museum is on the waterfront. Be sure to visit it if you are in Meaford, Ontario.
