If you have the winter blues then get a boost by coming out to our February pot luck lunch on Wednesday, February 21st at 12:00 pm. Bring food to share and your dishes and cutlery.
Lunch will be followed at 1:30 with an interesting talk by photographer Telfer Wegg about family farms. Recently, he, Bonnie Sitter and Fred Helwig published Agriculture Today, A Portrait of Family Farms. Telfer Wegg was raised on a farm, studied agriculture at the University of Guelph and taught high school science. We will learn about the roles played by the family farm in our province.
The pot luck lunch and meeting will be held at Cooke's Presbyterian Church, 14 George St. Markdale.
