Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1:30 pm Town of Blue Mountains The Sheffield Park Black History and Cultural Museum is an 11 acre park featuring a number of buildings along a heritage trail including a school, church and parlour. Carolyn Wilson, curator, and her late uncle Howard Sheffield co-founded the museum in Collingwood to gather and preserve the history of their ancestors and that of other black pioneers of Grey and Simcoe Counties. The museum outgrew its original location and was moved to its new site in 2009. Come and enjoy the unique collection of artifacts in this beautiful natural setting.
There is an admission charge of $5.00.
