Greenock Swamp

Come and gather at the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority at 7:15 at the resource centre for our September 16th meeting. Our guest speaker, Shannon Wood, will give an illustrated presentation on the colourful history of the Class One Wetlands. What part did the Greenock Swamp play in the settling of the area?

You are invited to bring your walking shoes, if you wish to walk the trails and see the ponds before the meeting.

Directions: (will depend of course on where you live but these instructions start at Durham).
Take #4 west of Durham to Grey Road 28; go to the 2nd light in Hanover (at Zeller's Store Corner) turn left and proceed to end of the road; turn right. The Conservation Authority entrance is a 1/4 mile on the right hand side.
