Grey County Historical Society Supported Lieutenant Governor's Project

Ruth Thomas, Chairperson of Library & Book Sales, wishes to thank all our members who responded to the Lieutenant Governor David Omley's appeal to send new children’s books to Canada’s North through the kindness of the Ontario Provincial Police.

Thank you also to those of you who donated money instead of books, as Ruth was able to purchase a number of new books, all of which she delivered to the OPP.

The OPP received our contribution of books with gratitude and pleasure and wish to thank the GCHS for their involvement in this worthwhile project.
