In November, 2012, Owen Sound community members came together to preserve the beautiful and historic Knox United Church. The first section of the building was opened in 1873. It was enlarged in 1886. In 1908, another addition resulted in an education wing.
It is now known as Harmony Centre Owen Sound and is home for arts education, performance and poverty alleviation efforts. Come and enjoy a tour of this special community jewel. Find out how a historic building has been turned into a valuable multi-purpose facility by a dedicated group of citizens. You will also hear about its architecture and its past history.
