Harrison Park is 100 years old! August programme

Harrison Park is 100 years old in 2012 and the people of Owen Sound have been celebrating. Several weeks ago, the community celebrated in grand style with many activities planned by the Friends of Harrison Park.

Enjoyed by residents and visitors to Owen Sound, Harrison Park is one of the jewels of the "scenic city". Noted local author, Richard Thomas, has collected numerous anecdotes and photos which capture the memories of many citizens in preparation for his latest work entitled 100 Years of Pleasure: the story of Harrison Park, 1912-2012. Richard will enlighten us with photos and stories about the park and his work in putting the book together.
