Familytree Magazine recognizes genealogy (and a few historical society) blogs each year. After the initial nomination process, 117 blogs in eight categories received the nod for the 2011 voting process. The Grey County Historical Society was amongst the finalists. It is an honour to be recognized in the Local/Regional category.
Now the magazine and their panel of judges asks the public to give them assistance in choosing the ones to recognized by voting for your favourites. You may vote more than once in a day if you wish.
The form is here. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ft40-2011voting
A list with links has been posted by FootnoteMaven on her site. You may find in her list some other blogs you might like to read on a regular basis. This is only a sampling of the many blogs that are available to read. If you wish, you can vote for up to five in a category.
Congratulations to all who were recognized this year.
