September 2010 meeting in Southampton - Freemasons

The September meeting is coming quickly. With the late Labour Day, the month seems to be flying by.


September's meeting has two parts. Please note that you must be a current member of the Grey County Historical Society, the Bruce County Historical Society or a member of the Freemasons and their immediate families to tour the home. Everyone is invited to join us at the Bruce County Museum.


Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. Southampton -- Former St. Lawrence Mason's Lodge & The Bruce County Museum

 
To celebrate the St. Lawrence Lodge Freemasons' 150th anniversary, join us for a special joint outing with the Bruce County Historical Society! At 1 p.m. enjoy a home tour of the original St. Lawrence Lodge, now a superbly renovated artist's residence. 
 
At 2:30 p.m. join us at the Bruce County Museum's theatre for an informative talk about the early history of Freemasonry in Grey and Bruce Counties, presented by the St. Lawrence Lodge Freemasons. The presentation will also feature an exhibit of Freemasonry artifacts and regalia. 


Please note:the house tour is open only to members of the G.C.H.S. and B.C.H.S, freemasons and their immediate families.



Directions: travel east of the traffic lights in Southampton to 38 Albert S. North Park on Landowne St. or at the Museum 1 block away.
