2009 Annual Meeting

The Grey County Historical Society held its 2009 annual meeting on April 15 at Walter's Falls prior to the special program on "Early Grey County Artists "(more on that in the next posting).

Tom Cole conducted the meeting.

The nomination committee of Harris Kuhl, Marcia Earl and Daisy Lamb presented the nominations as follows. The positons take effect on June 1.

Tom Cole recognized the contributions of long serving and outgoing members of the Board of Directors - Rodger Renton and Paula Niall. Although no longer on the Board, I am sure they will continue to be active members of the Society.

The members voted on several changes to the constitution and by-laws.

Individual Life Member $500.00

A membership form has been added to the website so you can print it off. It is an Adobe Acrobat reader file.

The category of honourary member has been removed.

Paula Niall, chair of the annual dinner committee, reminded everyone of the upcoming dinner on May 20 in Meaford. Tickets are still available.
