Annual Dinner

This is an early notice.

The Grey County Historical Society has its annual dinner each year in May. This year we will be in the Town of Meaford on May 20. Our guest speaker this year is Andrew Armitage, former chief librarian at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library. Andrew has written several history books on Grey County. He is also the "Georgian Bay Explorer".

Andrew will be speaking about "Looking at Old Grey County: 40 Years of Historical Adventures in the Queen's Bush". He will entertain us with these stories.

The dinner will be at the Meaford Curling Club.

Tickets are now available from members of the Board of Directors. The cost is $22.00 Tickets must be purchased before May 10.

Wednesday, May 20 -- Social Hour 5 p.m. Roast Beef Dinner at 6 p.m. This will be followed by highlights of our past year and then our guest speaker.

We hope you will join us. You do not have to be a member of the Society to attend.
